Quick Answers About Impala Service

What is included in the Impala oil-service price?

Every listed oil service includes the oil quantity shown, a GM oil filter, a four-wheel tire rotation, and a complimentary 27-point Multi-Point Inspection. The six-quart services, for the 3.6L V6 and the 2006–2009 Impala SS V8, are $89.95 plus tax; the 2.5L and 2.4L eAssist (5 quarts) and 2006–2011 3.5L and 3.9L V6 (4 quarts) services are $79.95 plus tax. Your advisor confirms the oil grade, quantity and applicable price for your Impala’s engine.

Where can I book Impala service in Bridgewater, NJ?

Bridgewater Chevrolet is at 1548 US Highway 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Open the service scheduler or the service scheduler page or call 732-907-1562. Have your model year, mileage and VIN ready. The scheduler asks for your vehicle information; a package is not automatically selected by these links.

How often does my Impala need an oil change?

Follow your vehicle’s Oil Life System and the maintenance instructions in your model-year owner’s manual. Timing varies with the vehicle and use. If your Impala is driven only occasionally, ask about the time-based interval in the manual as well as the mileage-based one. Ask your advisor to distinguish factory-required maintenance from additional dealership recommendations.

Does the $89.95 offer apply to every Impala?

No. It is the six-quart dexos1 5W-30 service for the 3.6L V6 (and the 2006–2009 SS V8), plus tax. The 2014–2019 2.5L four-cylinder takes 5 quarts of dexos1 5W-20 (0W-20 also approved), the 2014 eAssist 5 quarts of 5W-30, and the 2006–2011 3.5L and 3.9L V6 4 quarts of 5W-30; those services are $79.95 plus tax. Your advisor will verify eligibility and the estimate for your model year and engine before work begins.

Are these mileage packages required by Chevrolet?

No. These are Bridgewater-recommended packages, not a universal Chevrolet factory schedule. A package may include additional preventive services. Your advisor will review your vehicle’s factory schedule, condition and service history before recommending work.

Is the Impala still serviced now that it is discontinued?

Yes. The final Impala was built on February 27, 2020, but Bridgewater Chevrolet services every model year, including the 2014–2020 generation and the 2006–2013 Impalas listed above. Certified GM technicians perform the work with genuine GM parts, and the oil services and packages on this page apply to your Impala whatever its age.

Which Impala engine do I have?

The 2014–2020 Impala came with a 2.5L four-cylinder (standard through 2019) or a 3.6L V6; for 2020 the V6 was the only engine, and a 2.4L eAssist mild hybrid was sold for 2014 only. The 2006–2013 Impala came with a 3.5L or 3.9L V6 (through 2011), a 3.6L V6 (2012–2013) or, in the 2006–2009 Impala SS, a 5.3L V8. Every Impala of these generations is front-wheel drive. If you are not sure which engine you have, give your advisor the VIN.

When does my Impala need new spark plugs?

Chevrolet’s maintenance schedule calls for new spark plugs every 97,500 miles on the 2.5L, the 2.4L eAssist and the 3.6L V6 (2012 and later owner’s manuals), and every 100,000 miles on the 2006–2011 3.5L and 3.9L V6 and the 5.3L V8. Our 100,000-mile package includes the plug replacement when it has not been done earlier; no Impala engine needs plugs at 60,000 miles, so ask your advisor to leave them out of that package unless an inspection shows they are needed.

Can I use GM Rewards points for service?

You can use eligible My GM Rewards points toward service at Bridgewater Chevrolet. Ask your service advisor about eligibility and redemption at check-in.
